I downloaded Logon Studio last week, and I'm having just one problem with it.

When I click apply and I get a preview of my chosen logon, all the elements show up...the user account info, the shutdown icon, etc. etc. etc. But when I actually shutdown or boot up the computer and the logon screen comes on, all I see is the background image. All the other elements have vanished, nowhere to be found. It doesn't matter which logon file I try to use, the same thing happens to all of them.

I've read what FAQ I can find about Logon Studios, plus I've searched this messageboard to see if anyone else has had this same problem, but I can't seem to find anything about it. Help, please! What am I doing wrong here, eh?

Let me see what happens if I bring this question back to the top of the list.

I don't recall seeing something like that before, but I'm just an occasional user. Have you tried retoring to the original MS logon and then uninstalling/reinstalling logonxp and see if that makes any difference?

Also, have you tried the Stardock newsgroups? Perhaps someone there can figure out what might be causing that. Point your newsreader to news.stardock.com and there's a ng for logonstudio. Finally, you could also email support at stardock (at least that's what it says on the logonstudio support page): LogonStudio@stardock.com

Thanks for the tips!

I've tried restoring the original XP logons and rebooting, and also running a repair instead of an uninstall on the program, but nothing has worked. I just posted to the newsgroup to see if anybody has any suggestions, and then I'll try emailing support at Stardock if nothing else works. I'd like to leave the uninstall/reinstall option as a last resort, since I've downloaded quite a few logons now.
